DogSportsPhotos.org believes people want high quality photos of their dogs participating in dog sports and is working to cover events not covered by host sponsored professional photographers.
Because it is impractical for many event hosts to pay for professional event photography and many professional photographers do not find shooting events on spec profitable, many dog sporting events are simply not covered, leaving it difficult for participants to get good photos of their dogs in action.
DogSportsPhotos.org is attempting to organize photographers willing to donate their time to cover events and raise money for non-profit canine causes at the same time.
We think this is win-win, and is potentially a new model to dog sporting event photography.
